“Tinkoff” is not going to give the money. The bank sent a counterclaim to cunning customers

The bank will file a counterclaim against customers who “enriched” on the change in the exchange rate.

Previously, the bank wrote off large sums from customers’ accounts, which reached hundreds of thousands of rubles. A refund was made from those who, at the end of February, converted the currency from rubles to pounds, and from pounds to dollars. Such a hole in the system helped to buy dollars at about 88 rubles, at a time when their cost in the application was about 150 rubles.

The press service of the bank said:

“We plan to file counterclaims and defend our position in court”

It is noteworthy that some of the clients who noticed the error turned to the bank’s support with a question about the legality of such operations. To which the bank employees answered in the affirmative, and users bought cheap currency.

Later, Tinkoff realized that the funds were immediately debited, and the users sued the bank, demanding to return the funds and unblock the accounts.
