Telegram developers have released a major update to the messenger, adding the ability to create custom notification sounds, settings for turning off notifications in chats and automatically deleting messages, and much more.
Users of the new version of Telegram can set their own notification sounds for incoming messages. You can use audio files and voice messages smaller than 300 Kb and less than 5 second.
You can set the sound in the menu Settings > Notifications and sounds.
The messenger also has new settings for the timer to turn off notifications in chats and automatically delete messages. The timer can be set for any chat.
In addition, Telegram upgraded the capabilities of bots — developers were given the opportunity to create interfaces in JavaScript, which will allow them to create full-fledged sites inside the messenger.
