Authoritative insider Evan Blass hinted on Twitter at the imminent announcement of the first Google Pixel Watch smart watch.
Blass posted a screenshot of the interactive user manual for the Pixel Rohan device, the code name for the Pixel Watch smartwatch. The screenshot also shows that the gadget is running Wear OS 3.1. The insider stressed that the announcement will take place very soon.
Recall that another authoritative insider John Prosser revealed the design of the watch last fall. According to him, Google planned to introduce the gadget along with the Pixel 6 smartphones, but the lack of components prevented the company’s plans.
Google will likely unveil the Pixel Watch along with the Pixel 6a smartphone at the I/O Developers Conference on May 11 and 12.
