Thousands of peace activists gathered in cities across Germany on Saturday for their traditional Easter march, held this year in the shadow of the war in Ukraine. Around 1,200 participants gathered in Berlin in sunny but cool conditions, according to police figures, and a similar number joined a march the the north-western city of Bremen.
