The editor XSEED Games and the studio Grasshopper Manufactory announced the arrival of a new version of No More Heroes III. This will include improved high definition graphics, higher frame rates and faster loading times. The information is all the more surprising as the license is above all known by Nintendo players.
Indeed, it was in 2007 on Wii that the first episode was released. A port had indeed taken place in 2010 of the title on Xbox 360 and PS3. However, Xbox gamers weren’t given the same treatment for the second installment and out-of-timeline title around the main character, Travis Touchdown. In this third game, events take place nine years after the previous one. Travis is back in the city of Santa Destroy after his exile. Except he notices a structure floating above the city. It is now the Earth that he will have to defend against an intergalactic enemy.
For the occasion, XSEED Games also announced a physical release of this edition. Called Physical Day 1, it consists of a copy of the game, a 70-page artbook, the original soundtrack and a commemorative license plate. It will be available for €59.99 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 when it releases this fall.
